15 gallon pedal lid – with salty features

Question:
I simply fall in love with the various Red Wing items I come across. What is the make/value of the attached 15 (marked) gallon pedal lid. Because it is tan in color I would guess it is salt glaze. Unfortunately it has a rim chip (about 1/2 inch long, 1/4 inch deep) that has caused a tight hairline about 1 inch. I know this reduces the value but it is still beautiful. More photos? Thanks. Chuck

12 gallon smail wing crock

Question:
Is it worth anything? :) I was going to drill holes in the bottom to make a planter but decided to check first. It has no lid and a small chip along the outer edge. Other than that it’s just stained over the years. Used as a pickle barrel by my Father. Thanks!!!! Mike

Question:
I have 2 red wing crocks – the ’4 ice water’ – no lid, and the 2 with the small logo. They are in excellent condiditon with only minor surface cracks. No leaks. Have been stored in my home for 20 years. I am wondering as to their resale value. The ice water is 10 1/2×13; the #2 is 9 1/2×91/2. I currently am not able to send pics. Any info is appreciated. Thank you! Gretchen

12 gallon birch leaf crock, Minnesota Stoneware, and lid photo

Question:
I have a #12, 2-birch leaf in black ink crock. The 12 was printed-stenciled on, but there is no label of who manufactured this item. I’ve checked everywhere on the crock for any markings with no success. The 2-birch leaf resembles that of the Union Stoneware Co. logo. Is this a counterfeit product? It’s in good condition, it has a flaw-crack I believe came from the manufacturing process otherwise no cracks found inside or outside of the crock. The lid does have a crack and has been chipped. It also has no label. Can you tell me who manufactured this crock? What is its worth, It’s history, It’s age,Why no label? M. Terao

Pair of 60 gallon Red Wing Crocks with lids

Question:
I came accross these red wing crocks and I was wondering if I could get an estimated value on these 2 60 gallon Red Wing Pottery crocks. One of them has a hairline from the top that extends about half way down. The other seems not to have any hairlines but a few small pits. Both lids are not in as good of condition as the crocks however they are still in 1 piece. Both have hairlines but one of them has a hairline about halfway across so I’ve been extra careful with it. The spigots are still in good condition on each crock and after many years the inside nuts were easily removed by hand to clean the crocks. I am not aware of any repairs to the crocks or lids ever.
