I found this churn in a yard sale for $20.00.The wooden cover came with it. Could you tell me more about it and what it is worth.Thank you, ps it is 9 1/2 inches in diameter. Tammy
Answer: Tammy you have a very early Red Wing 2 gallon crock with a ski oval. The wooden lid is not original to the crock, so it has no value. Your crock was manufactured between 1909 & 1912. If it is in perfect condition with that ski oval (first of 13 ovals) the value is around $100. Al Kohlman
