5 gallon large wing crock
Question:
I have a red wing marked 5 with the wing, oval reads RED WING Union Stoneware C? Red Wing, Minn. The inside you can see a crack along the bottom edge and seen lightly on the outside. Has a chip you can see in pic. This one has a casted hole in the bottom. Also a black line goes across the bottom. Not knowing if that is factory or someone did this? Not chips around it and really clean condition. It doesn’t have any place for handles like I have seen in some of them. Thanks for your advice! Paula

Zinc glaze molded jug
Question:
Finally, the last pot is also a jug-style design and medium in size, although a tad bigger than the previous jug pot. It is also has no markings on it and was always refered to as a Redwing Pot by my Grandmother. It’s in excellent condition throughout as well. Any information you can give me on these pots is greatly appreciated! Again, I can provide additional photos if needed; the site just simply wouldn’t allow me to do so. Thank you for your help and I look forward to hearing from you! Gayle

10 gallon large wing crock
Question:
I have several pots that I’d like an expert opinion on. Unfortunately, I think I can only upload one photo per the maximum filesize for your site. I do have other photos, if you’d like to see them. The first pot is a large, 5 gallon floor pot. It is in excellent condition with no cracks in it and the Redwing markings on the front. The glaze condition is also very good with only a few minor topical glaze crackings. Overall, the pot is in fabulous condition. Gayle

Red Wing Beater Jar
Question:
I have inherited a Red Wing Beater Jar from my mother. It is about 6 inches tall. My question is, It has a pale blue lid with it which looks like it is made out of the same material. The fit is rather loose and I am wondering if it is original to the piece. The lid is not raised or domed but rather flat. Thank you Diane
