Question:
I have several pots that I’d like an expert opinion on. Unfortunately, I think I can only upload one photo per the maximum filesize for your site. I do have other photos, if you’d like to see them. The first pot is a large, 5 gallon floor pot. It is in excellent condition with no cracks in it and the Redwing markings on the front. The glaze condition is also very good with only a few minor topical glaze crackings. Overall, the pot is in fabulous condition. Gayle
Answer: Gayle, the Red Wing crock you have pictured here is a 10 gallon. It has the large 6 inch wing and has no handles. This tells me that it was produced between 1912 & 1915. In perfect condition it would have a value around $150. Al Kohlman
