It is in absolutely mint condition (don’t think it was ever out of the box) and has no scratches, chips or discolorations. 4 Red Wing Creamation Urns

Question:
I Have 4 Red Wing cremation urns. I think they are what you call green ware. 3 of them have holes in the bottom that are stopped up by corks. The most recent one I purchased does not have the hole. I was wondering of the values of the urns and why does one not have the hole. Is it a different age? Thanks for your time. John

Answer: Hi John, these are cemetery markers, or flower holders, not a cremation pot. They are from the late 20′s, brushed ware. Some have the hole, others don’t , just a variation. The water would drain, and not crack the pot, so I assume the ones with holes would be a later version. Value is around 125.00 each. thanks, steve n rose

Yes and it also is marked Red Wing USA. Do you have any information on this piece? Thanks for any help you might be able to provide. Ruby
