Question:
Hello, Is this jug Red Wing? What can you tell us about it? It’s 14 inches tall, the handle is broken, and there are a few chunks out of the bottom and the lip around the opening. The artwork seems very unusual. Thank you for your help with this!

Albany slip churn with wood lid and dasher

Question:
Is my item a Red Wing? It was handed down to me from a grandmother who collected many different things. So I know it is old. The memo was inside of the jar when I got it but some of the letters have worn off. The plunger is 19" tall and the crock is 9" tall, the bottom is 7" across and the top lip is 6 1/2 " across. I can’t make out any identifying marks on the bottom. The note reads "ONE OF THE SCARCE ONES – A 1/4 SIZE CHURN – FROM ABOUT 1900-POSSIBLY A BIT EARLIER" At the top is the name of it but I can’t make it out. Please tell me as much as you can about it. Thanks Mary

Capistrano place setting

Question:
I was given 4 place settings of dishes – Capistrano pattern – only going to keep one set to display – what is the value of a place setting – dishes are in very good condition.

10 3/4" plate
7 3/4" plate
6 1/2" plate
saucer
cup
cereal bowl [that is what the antique dealer marked it] [dealer had $12 marked on it - tag is still on a couple of the bowls]
– also included a pic of the back of one of the items – there is a number on each of them but do not believe they are all the same
I am trying to figure out a value on them – they are excellent condition – was given 4 place settings and wish to sell 3 of them. The dealer that my daughter bought them from didn’t want to sell just one – which I understand. Just trying to find a value to sell them so I know what I can try to sell them for – once I find a place to sell them.

Thank you Judie
