Question:
Is my item a Red Wing? It was handed down to me from a grandmother who collected many different things. So I know it is old. The memo was inside of the jar when I got it but some of the letters have worn off. The plunger is 19" tall and the crock is 9" tall,the bottom is 7" across and the top lip is 6 1/2 " across. I can’t make out any identifying marks on the bottom. The note reads "ONE OF THE SCARCE ONES – A 1/4 SIZE CHURN – FROM ABOUT 1900-POSSIBLY A BIT EARLIER" At the top is the name of it but I can’t make it out. Please tell me as much as you can about it. Answer: Your small grandmother’s churn is not Red Wing. I have no idea of who may have manufactured it. But it is cute. Al Kohlman
