Can you please identify this pattern? I have been trying for years with no luck.I only have this oval platter which is 15 1/4" x 10 1/2". There is one long brown branch with yellow-green and green flowers. Small branches and flower buds are blue-green. Scalloped edge plate is outlined around the inside oval in yellow-green. Red Wing M 3017, Decorator Line
Question:
I have this "Redwing USA M3017" fruit compote by Charles Murphy. I believe it is Travertine glaze–what I would call mid-century green. My mother-in-law bought it new probably in 50′s or 60′s. It has some Crackling–original? Could you give me the year manufactured and a value range? I want to sell it by online auction but I was given wildly different values by local antique dealers. Thanks!
Answer: This is part of the decorator line, circa 1959-1961. The crackle is normal. The glaze maybe silver-green, which is a decorator line color, but this one looks a bit different. Value is around 55.00. thanks, steve n rose

15 gallon crock with fitting
Question:
Just acquired a large Red Wing crock and am interested in its history and use. It has a 15 on it (the 5 is in very decorative script). Below that is "the" red wing. Below the red wing, in an oval, is Red Wing (a line below that), Potteries, Inc. (a line below that)and then Redwing, Minn. Above the 15 is an opening with a fitting in it. Facing the writing on the crock, on the left and at the bottom is an opening which does not have a fitting in it. The handles are metal with wood hand holds. The color is tan/beige. Thank you. Joy
