Round Red Wing Union Stoneware mark

Question:
Hi Al, What can you tell me about the round oval like the one pictured. I am assuming there are rarer than your standard oval. I don’t run into them too often. Was it used for certain years? I have only seen them on crocks with a 2" wing, so are they not as old? Were they used on more than just crocks, like jugs and churns? Thanks, Chris

Cattailes Motif Cookie Jar with blue tint

Question:
I have my grandmother’s cookie jar, I would really like to find out some information about it! I believe that it is Red Wing pottery from about 1930′s (I found the logo in a book and it said it was 1930′s logo. ???) If is blue and white (or grey and yellow), round with a flat bottom, and a fitted lid. The design is burlap texture with cat tails and the word Cookies on it. The logo on the bottom is real light, and I think that it says Red Wing Pottery with a number in the middle. I am going to inclue a picture or two. Please let me know what you can about it. Thank you. Cindy Lou
