Bean Pot with wire handle and albany slip top

I have a bean pot that belonged to my grandmother. I have included a picture. It is approx. 5 1/4" wide at the top and has a "1/2 and it’s either an 8 or a B" stamped on the top of the lid. It’s approx. 6" tall. I was wondering what the value of this is and where it came from. It does seem to have a glaze and is tan at the bottom and brown on top with a wire handle. Thank you.
