6 cup coffee dripolator, rose color glaze
Question:
I just received this piece from my grandmother. It is a 6-cup coffee maker in rose-colored glazed pottery. The coffee brewer part is removable to leave just a server-pot. It is in mint condition. My grandmother said it belonged to her mother-in-law (my great-grandmother). It has taken a prominent place on a shelf in my kitchen. I searched online and was unable to find any pieces like it. Just wondering if you had a monetary value for it, although it is priceless to me! Thanks!

Measurea approx. 6 3/4" tall & 7" across @ widest point. Overall condition is good no chips or cracks or crazing, but does have 2-3 tiny smudges or dust under the glaze. Also has one tiny flea bite ti inside of top rim, only visable from the backside. I’d like to know everything you can tell me. Thank you, Paul
Hi Paul
it is a real Red Wing item, B1418, but it is a two piece nesting vase. there is a smaller one that sits in front, and rests on the grooves of the large one. It is shape # B1418A. It’s designed by Belle Kogan, circa 1952. Value alone, maybe 15.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
