Brush ware bowl the daffodil pattern
Question:
I have this bowl that I suspect to be Red Wing. It has a daffodil pattern. It measures 6 3/4" in diameter and 2 1/2" high. It is a green color. It has 2 very small "chigger bites" around the top outside rim. Thanks Carlie
Answer: Thanks for the pics, Carlie. Think this one is a Western or RRP product, it just doesn’t have the right look for Red Wing. Still a nice item, value is around 35.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
Gopher on a stump with B.L. marking
Question:
I found a gopher stump tooth pick at an estate sale, it looks like the real thing. However it is only marked B. L. (inscribed on the bottom). It is cold painted, no gloss. Measures 2 1/2 inches from side to side, 2 1/4 inches tall and wide.
Answer: Is it bisque underneath? it appears to never have been glazed. Still nice, I haven;t seen one unglazed before. value is around 100-125. thanks, steve n rose
