25 gallon crock with Union Stoneware Company marking

Question:
Hi, I have a 25 Red Wing Crock with a maple leaf and an oval stamp that has Union Stoneware Co. the crock is in good condition. I can’t find any cracks or chips. It also has a round piece of wood that is the top, but it is broken in half. (I have both halves) I am curious as to the value, and a good sales outlet, i.e. eBay, or your classified, etc… Thank you very much for your time

Brushed Ware Crane vase and two 163 vases

Question:
I just bought a home built in 1923 and found three pottery items in an attic storage closet. The one is similar to another submission,"crane series" however the matching pair are mysterious to me. Both the pair and the Crane are stamped on the bottom with "Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. Redwing, Minnesota" in circle. The pair of vases are numbered 163. Please let me know.

Answer: Hello

These are Red Wing items, circa 1930. You don’t mention a size, both shapes came in 3 different sizes. Value is around 100.00 each. thanks, steve n rose

Red Wing 20012 wave without tropicana relief

Question:
I have a vase bottom mark Red Wing USA and 2001, color Pink Zephyr Fleck inside and out. I have most every Red Wing identification book in print. I find B2001 in the Tropicana line in the books but no 2001. The vase is the same shape and size as B2001 but without the Tropicana relief on the front. Any information available would be appreciated.

Answer : I don’t have a real answer, it could be a redone shape, the fleck glazes are slightly older than Tropicana. I don’t have a listing for 2001 either, Murphy did a hobnail ashtray with that number, but it’s not a vase form. I did just find a similiar form, but it’s marked 2003, and is plain, no decoration like Tropicana. Value is around 30.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

Question:
My mother and father were cleaning out my Grandparent’s place and came across this pot. The only marking on the bottom is a circle, Red Wing on the top, Union Stonewared Co. in the middle and Red Wing, Minn. on the bottom of the circle. Please see the attached photograph. We are wondering about the history, value, age, whatever you can share. Thank you. Sincerely, Ruth
