Question:
My mother and father were cleaning out my Grandparent’s place and came across this pot. The only marking on the bottom is a circle, Red Wing on the top, Union Stonewared Co. in the middle and Red Wing, Minn. on the bottom of the circle. Please see the attached photograph. We are wondering about the history, value, age, whatever you can share. Thank you. Sincerely, Ruth
Answer: Hi Ruth
it’s part of the brushed ware line, circa 1930/31. Shape # 124, ti’s actually a large flower pot/planter. Nice shape, and having it marked is good as well. Value is around 150.00. thanks, steve n rose
