Question:
Hello, my Mother has a 4 gallon union stoneware churn and she wanted to know a little more about it and what it might be worth. I don’t know if the stick is original, it’s just a cross shape inside. Thanks. Kevin

Answer: Kevin your mother’s churn was manufactured by the Minnesota Stoneware Company between 1895 & 1906. The lid on the churn is not a Minnesota or Red Wing churn lid. The lid is from another stoneware company. The value for the churn in today’s ecomony is between $150 & $175 if the churn is in mint condition. If the decorations were fully printed and darker, the value would be higher. Hope this helps. Al Kohlman
