Question:
Hi, I have a 25 Red Wing Crock with a maple leaf and an oval stamp that has Union Stoneware Co. the crock is in good condition. I can’t find any cracks or chips. It also has a round piece of wood that is the top, but it is broken in half. (I have both halves) I am curious as to the value, and a good sales outlet, i.e. eBay, or your classified, etc… Thank you very much for your time

Answer: The wooden top on your 25 gallon Red Wing crock is not original and has nothing to do with it’s value. Not being able to see your 25 gallon crock and how well the decorations are applied and the size of the wing, I can only give you a range. $250 to $350. The larger the wing and how clear and dark the decorations then the higher the value. Because these large crocks are so expensive to ship, you will want someone to pick it up. The Red Wing classifieds, Ebay and Craigslist are all good areas to advertising it in. Al Kohlman
