Question:
I have a vase about 10 inches tall marked Red Wing USA M-1461 the color is sort of gold with apple green interior. I can’t find it on the web (using dialup is a hindrance). There is a paper Red Wing tag on one side. The look is to me art deco. Thanks. Kathy
Answer: HI Kathy

I have this four gallon Red Wing Stoneware container and know nothing about it. It has sat in my wood shop for nearly 20 years, I am not even sure where I got it. I happened upon your website and have found very little information on four gallon containers. I don’t have a lid for it but it is in excellent condition, however, the handles are rusty. Could you give me an idea as to its value. Thank You. Mark
I have a nesting bowl set of 6 in what I think is Saffronware with pink and blue bands. I found a picture of one on the Redwing Trading Post. Can you verify for me that it is what it says it is? Any information is appreciated. The size range of the bowls are from 4 inches to 9 inches. Thanks. Angela
Hello~ I collect teapots, and recently I found a small orange-colored teapot (photo attached) with Red Wing very faintly impressed into the bottom (it appears I can only attach one photo here, but I do have a picture of the mark), with no other numbers or marks. I know that sometimes reproductions have very faint marks and I haven’t found this mark on any of the websites I’ve checked, which makes me doubt its authenticity. The teapot measures 5 inches tall and about 4 inches across and has no damage. You can see the impressed circular decoration in the photo. Can you give me your opinion as to whether it’s authentic, its approximate age, and value (if any)? Thank you! Anita
