Question:
I have a white vase that was handed down from my father. He said it was a wedding present from my uncle. It is about 61 years old. It is white with 12 stripes on top going up and down, and the lower half is stars in four rows. The bottom is #1199 red wing underlined and usa under that. Inside the vase is a vintage green. Can you help? Thank you Pam from Portland Oregon
Answer: Hi Pam
your vase was designed in 1943, it could have been made for a few years after that. Kind of a patriotic feel about the form, from WWII. Value is around 55.00. thanks, steve n rose

My grandma gave me this piece. Looked around on internet & couldn’t find a similar piece. Is 5.5 in tall, base has diameter of 6 in. Has a lid, one pottery handle on side & a wire handle. On teh bottom is a circle logo that says "RED WING – Union Stoneware Co. – RED WING, MINN." It is in great shape – but needs cleaned up since it sat near my grandma’s stove for 30+ years. No chips or cracks. Any info you can provide would be great (age – value – etc.) Thanks so much
I have this Red Wing dish but don’t know if it’s really a dish, bowl or what. It has 413 stamped on the bottom. Can you tell me about it and it’s value?
I have an 8 gallon crock that says Ice Water on the front with the number 8 above it. There is a cork in the hole on the bottom where there was possibly a spigot at one time. The crock has no cracks or chips at all, just the usual wear and tear I think you’d expect. Please let me know the value – I’ve included a photo. Teirney
I have a piece of Red Wing Stoneware that has the number "3" and the red wing logo (but no words) on the side. It is in really good shape with no cracks or chips. It is 10.5" tall. I’m looking for an approximate value. Photo attached. Thanks! Susan
I have a piece of Red Wing Stoneware that appears to be missing a piece. It is 10" tall, 9" in diameter and has two feet that stick out from the bottom. The only visible marking is a stamp on the side (see photo). Can you tell me anything about the piece, and what its approx. value might be? Susan
so I see lots of people on line saying they are chipped. and are selling them for 2 – 3 hundred dollars. With the chips? Is this normal? Nancy
