Just today I purchased a Red Wing, Minnesota Centinnal trivit can you tell me the story behind it, is it Red Wing Pottery? and what the value would be. I don’t have a picture for you but it is in mint condition, no cracks, glaze is good. Thank You, Nicole

Magonlia Vase 1945, 4″ size

Question:
I have a vase that is ribbed with a ruffled top. On the base the date 1945 is scratched into the colored surface before it was fired. It is a pinkish maroon. 4" high. I was told it was a sample color. Thanks for any information that you can give me. Marge

6 gallon butter churn

Question:
From my Mother I inherited 2 pieces that she used all of her married life.

1. a 6 gallon butter churn with a glaze like the picture on the left. It has a lid with a few chipped places and the wooden dasher goes through the hole in the center of the lid. On the front there is a large 6, below that a red wing, and below that an oval that says Red Wing Union Stoneware Co Red Wing Minn.

2. a 3 gallon crock, no lid, same looking glaze, and the front of the crock says: 3 Imperial Medalta Potteries Ltd. Medicine Hat Alberta
