Nokomis Pitcher, shape 207

Question:
This piece is 5 1/2" in diameter and 5 1/2" high. The opening is 2 1/4". Incised in the bottom is L08. Also on the bottom is a printed round blue label that says Red Wing (top of round) Pottery (bottom of round). In the center is a 3 character number of letters that I can’t really read but looks like 421. There are no chips of cracks on the pottery and it appears to be in perfect condition.

Additional info posted:

I am adding some information to the submission I made about 1/2 hour ago. Taking a photo of the bottom of the piece I see that the Blue Printed Round stamp mark actually says Red Wing Art Pottery, as can be seen in the attached photo.

Answer: Hello, this is shape #207, done in Nokomis glaze, circa 1931. Value should be around 150.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

There were 2 sizes of your bowl, a 14" and your larger one. the large size was discontinued in 1954. I am assuming it’s in one of the overlay glazes. It is part of the anniversary series. The large size is fairly uncommon. Value is around 250-300.00. hope this helps, thanks, steve n rose
