Would like to know information/approx value on the following item: Red Wing planter. Green glaze on inside, leaf design on outside. Outside tan with dark green coloring. 12 1/4 inch diameter at top, 10 1/2 inch high, 38 1/2 inch circumference around rim. Bottom has Red Wing stamp. Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. Red Wing Minn. this is a flower pot shape #106. it dates to around 1930. part of the brushed ware line. It came in several sizes, up to 14". Value is around 95.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
I have a redwing pitcher and vase I just picked up and I would like to know everything about them. The pitcher is 7" by 4" and the vase is 8-1/2" by 5". There is a thin stress crack on the top of the pitchers handle where it meets the body and there is some slight wear on the bottom of the vase. Both also have a purple patina around the designs. The bottom the the vase says-top to bottom-(1218 Red Wing USA) and the pitcher says (Red Wing USA 1012). If you could tell me when they were made and what they are valued at, that would be great thanks. Brad

My grandfather passed away and we are trying to sell some of the things he left in order to pay of his debts and estate. He was a bit of a pack rat, so I have, right now, three red wing pottery items and was wondering if they are worth anything??? The first item is this rooster. It says M1438 on the bottom. Hi, I just found a Prismatique bowl with the raised makers mark numbered 791. The unusual aspect of this piece is the hand engraved letters and numbers above the RW M/M. I will attach pictures but they didn’t come out the very best but it should give you an idea of what I’m talking about. I believe this could be an engraved glaze formula??? possibly?? It is UNDER the glaze. The engraving says – top line – Lil (or Li1) under that is the number- 76 The black stuff on it came off with no problem but there are two chips in the piece. Any information on the engraved stuff or a estimate on value would be great. Thanks so much. Nancy I do have more pictures to send if you would like to see them. The piece is solid white.. not colorful at all like other pieces I’ve seen when I looked this up tonight.
I have inherited 2 Red Wing vases numbered 861 on the bottom, Terra Cotta color, perfect condition, stand 8 1/2" tall and want to know approx value and what is the best way to sell them? B
This 4 1/2" diameter, 1 1/8" high ashtray was made using light colored clay, similar to the color used by Red Wing. Inpressed around the rim is BECKER COUNTY SAND & GRAVEL CO. There is (was?) a company by that name in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota. It’s a rather poorly made piece – lettering is partially glazed over and the backside has LOTS of glaze pops. Is it Red Wing or something else? Age? Bill
