Question:
I have had a green and "brushed" sand jar, but just found a jar that is yellow inside and out. The images are very crisp and defined — do you have any info thanks Art
Answer: Red Wing did make a Tan brushed ware glaze, and the interior is a glossy version of the same glaze. It would date to around 1930. Is it the doe/buck sand jar? there are a couple other shapes as well, but it’s the most common. Apic would be great. Most of these sandjars sell for 3-500. thanks, steve n rose

Hello my name is Gina. I have had the most difficult time identifying this vase. I have searched endlessly ive been through library books and unending internet searches. The vase measures approximately 10" tall and the diameter is 7.5". The vase has several interesting indentations it almost seems they are meant to be decorative indents. You can see an example of this on the bottom corner in the picture. I think it resembles early regal Mashman pottery. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks, Gina

The hole for the plant is 9" across also. I picked it up at a rummage sale around 20 yrs ago. It had a mate, but some one grabbed it before I got get them both. I’m interest in how old it is and if it is of any value. I’m not sure if I’m interested in selling it yet. The number on it is 923. Antique dealers claim they don’t know any thing about it. I’d send a picture, but I don’t know how to submit it. Thanks very much, Rene
