Red Wing USA 429 console bowl

Question:
Hello, I hope someone can help me with this predicament. My mother bought or was given a planter? Or it could serve as a deep dish. The color is a medium chartreuse green with a light brown wash type tan/grey overtone on the outside only. It is shaped like a maple leaf. On the bottom it is written Red Wing USA 429. While caring for foster kitties they knocked it off a low shelf. I have all the pieces. I could send a picture if that helps. What I want is either to buy a “new” one or an expert to glue it together. Please advise. Jennifer

Answer:
Hi Jennifer,
This is kind of a console type bowl, designed in 1953. Value is around $30.00, so it’s not really worth having repaired. I would check eBay, you may find another one there.
thanks, steve n rose
