Red Wing 776

Question:
I’ve come across this Redwing vase and would like to know something about it, whether it is vintage or newer and maybe what the value might be. It is in excellent condition, a satiny white glaze outside and glossy sea-green inside, it’s just over 12" tall and has an embossed woman figure on a swing with a cherub on each side of her. Marked on the bottom is Redwing USA 776. Thanks for your help!

Answer: It is indeed vintage, circa 1962. There is also a matching one in reverse. It is a nice shape, and has a value of 100.00 or so. Nice find. thanks, steve n rose

Anniversary Vase #2302

Question:
This vase is 10.25 inches tall and 3.58 across the top. It is in pristine condition, no nicks or scratches. The glaze is gray and burgandy. It says, "red wing 2302" on the bottom. I am unable to attach the photos to this email. Amanda

Heron Vase #144

Question:
I have a 12 inch – large vase or umbrella stand -green brushware. Bottom two thirds rather plain -top third has a wildlife motif of large standing bird – looks like a stork or swan standing in a shallow pool – one side the bird is standing upright – other side it is drinking water. Stamp on bottom is round and says Red Wing Union Stoneware CO. Red Wing, Minn. Thanks

Answer: Hello, this is the Heron vase, shape #144. These seem to be coming out of the woodwork lately! It’s from the brushed ware line, circa 1930. It is the largest of three sizes made in this shape. Value is around 150.00 or so. hope this helps, thanks, steve n rose

Magnolia Vase 1616

Question:
Please see the attached picture of a Red Wing. It is 8.5" tall, and on the bottom it is stamped "Red Wing USA 1616". It does have a 3" hair line crack on the back. Can you tell me an approximate value

Question:
Hello. We have a delightful redwing vase that we would like some infomation about. It is marked 1197, matt white with a green glazed interior. It stands 9" tall x 5" in diameter. Do you know a date, does it have a name and what might the value be? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. Brion

Answer: hello, this vase dates from 1947. No particular name or line that it belongs to, all though there is one that is larger. the glaze is eggshell ivory, lined with green. Value is around 55.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

Red Wing Vase #952

Question:
I have a turquoise / green colored vase that is numbered with the pattern 952 and stands 6-1/4 inches tall. It has swirls that swirl upwards towards the top of the vase. Red Wing Bowl B2108

Question:
I inherited a bowl from my Grandmother that I really love using because it is so unique (in my opinion). It is a gorgeous teardrop shaped bowl, forest green on the outside and butter yellow on the inside with a leaf imprint on the inside. On the bottom of the bowl is imprinted with Red Wing USA B2108. Would you be able to tell me a bit more about this piece? Thank you. Robin

Answer: Hi Robin, this bowl comes from the Textura Line, designed by Belle Kogan, circa 1950. There are several other shapes that go along with it. The glaze is called Woodland Green. Value is around 25.00. thanks, steve n rose

Question:
I have an 11 inch tall brush ware flower vase?. Interior is pale lime green. Exterior features bird. Bottom has stamp as Red Wing – union stonware" in a circle. Im guessing 1930′s, Any idea on age value, scarcity? Thanks, Pauk
