Red Wing Pottery Museum announces Fundraiser

Wine & Cheese Tasting Fundraiser

for the Red Wing Pottery Museum

Where: The Red Wing Pottery Museum

When: Wednesday, July 9, 8 pm to 10 pm

The RWCS Foundation has planned a Wine & Cheese Tasting Fundraiser for the Red Wing Pottery Museum.

Come and enjoy good food, friends and music on the evening of Wednesday, July of Convention Week to benefit the Red Wing Pottery Museum. Wine sampling and hors d’euvres will be served, a 4-piece band will provide the entertainment and some "one of a kind" items will be up for auction that evening and Dick Houghton has graciously offered to call the oral auction.

The admission for this event is your donation of a piece of stoneware, dinnerware or art pottery for the upcoming fundraising auction.

Red Wing Collectors Society Foundation’s Pottery Museum Fall Auction on Sunday, Oct. 19 at Grandpa’s Garage in Cannon Falls, Minn.

The RWCS Foundation would appreciate all donated pieces to be high quality, mint condition pieces with 100 percent of the auction proceeds going to the Red Wing Pottery Museum. Dick Houghton will again be auctioning off the items for free and Grandpa’s Garage has donated the venue for this fundraising event.

Indigo and the Bald Eagles have graciously donated their time and talents to play their Dixieland Jazz all evening as entertainment. The RWCS Foundation hopes to see you there!

Call Diane Hallstrom at 612-247-9879 for more information.

There are no chips, cracks or crazing and the finish is still very shiny. I’m pretty sure that they are the 32 and 64 ounce pitchers. They both have the "RED WING USA" imprint on the bottom.
