Red Wing Dinnerware: Microwave and dishwasher safe?

Question:

I was gifted a set of brown Red Wing dishes. I’m not sure if they would be considered dinnerware or stone ware. On the back of the plates I found the Red Wing name and different numbers. Some plates have the name and the number 217 and others have the name number 346. They also state that they are hand painted and oven proof. My question is since they are oven proof are they microwaveable? And what is the highest temperature they would be oven proof to? Is it ok that I use these for everyday dishes. What harm would be done if I did use them in the dishwasher? Thank you Elizabeth

I am interested in history on Red Wing as to weather all pieces have numbers or signatures. Is it true that the older 1910 pcs. only had the Red Wing with no other markings.
