Red Wing Success Filter

Question:
I have a crock ‘red wing success filter’ on front,(no lid), manufactured by Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. ‘To insure best results, etc.’ on back. 11 1/2" high by 11 1/2" wide, tiny spider on the inside bottom. Outside has 2 sets of thin blue lines around the top and bottom with some kind of indented pattern in between. Can you tell me what it was used for and it’s current value. Kathy

Question:
Have a straight side crock has a large #8 and says red wing stoneware co. red wing minn. picked it up 40 years ago in the basement of an old house in seattle. Also have a larger crock same type with a crown logo and #12 in the crown. no cracks or chips on either one. Thanks, J

15 gallon with IL State marking

Can you tell me what this 10 gallon crock is worth. Obviously it’s not red wing – there is absolutely no damage to this that I can find. Thanks! Beth

This was made by Whitehall out of Illinois. I would think in today’s market the price range would be $120-$150. Scott
