Question:
I recently purchased an old Red Wing #3 crock at a consignment shop for $90. The condition is good/very good with no cracks in or outside, but some minor chipping around the mouth of the crock. It’s decorations have good color, a 4" red wing and an oval that according to your webside dates it to 1917-1918. According to the consignment shop, the owner’s grandmother used to make pickles in it and that is our intended purpose. Could you please give me any info you have on this crock and it’s approximate value? Thanks! Brett

5 gallon Red Wing Salt Glaze Crock – emailed for better photo
Question:
I have what I believe is a 5 gallon Red Wing Salt Glaze Crock. It has some white staining on the outside, no identifying stamps, and some chipping on the handles. I also have a Salt Glaze lid that fits the crock, but do not believe belongs to the crock. It has several chips and nicks. I would appreciate any other information regarding these pieces including dates and value. Thank you, Michelle
6 gallon red wing water cooler
Question:
A friend of mine gave me a 6 gallon red wing water cooler in mint condition. The cooler has the words "water cooler" written on the outside along with two stripes painted around the top lip and two stripes also around the bottom written in blue. The words are still visible but slightly fading. The red wing is 4 inches large. With this description can you tell me how much this cooler is worth and about how old it is? There was no lid or spigot when I received it. I know this cooler was used back in the late 40′s and 50′s. Paula

50 gallon red wing crock with the lid
Question:
Hi, I have a 50 gallon red wing crock with the lid.
We’ll start with the lid. It had (2) inch and a half long and inch deep chips in the rim that have beed puttied up. There are also 2 crows feet in the glaze on top that don’t go through to the other side. The handle is missing.
Now the crock. It has a ski oval with nice markings. There’s a 5 inch super tight hairline on back starting at the rim. There is also a hairline crack going down the front about 3 inches to the right of the markings. The crack isn’t too wide and has been super glued so it’s stable. The crack goes 3/4 the way down, but you can only see it about 1/3 of the way down because it gets soo tight you need to get right up to it to notice it.
Sorry, no pictures. What is the value. Thanks!!!!! Jordan
5 piece albany slip bowl set, covered casserole and a Chocolate pot
Question:
I have a 5-piece set of pottery – three graduated bowls, a covered casserole, and a "chocolate pot". The set is brown with a green band and was purchased in the 1930′s by my father for his mother. Some of the pieces are labeled "red wing USA", but others of the set do not have any markings. All the pieces are in factory condition. Do I have "real" Red Wing pottery? If so, what do you estimate the value of the set? Nancy
