Question:
My wife and I recently found a piece of art pottery.It is 3.5 ins tall by 3.5 wide.It is very heavy. I believe it to be a candlestick holder. It has 3 cherubs around the top.It appears to be old.It has a pink glaze,with a gray glaze over it.We found it a half hour out of Colorado springs,in Canon City.My Question is who made it?Please see attached file.Thanks,Scott

I have 10 place settings of redwing dishes called lute song I think each setting is a plate cup & saucer and soup bowl. I also have some serving pieces on is a long narrow piece about 18.5 by 4.5. How would I go about trying to figure out how much these are worth. I know I would have to figure out exactly how many pieces I actually have and what the exact serving dishes are. I also have tall glasses, juice glasses, and I think they would be called sundae cups or dessert cups and they are all I think called knobby and kind of aqua green, do you know if their is a price on these to. thanks alot

2 gallon crocks, salt glaze

Hello, I found these 2 crocks in the basement of my Great Aunts house. She grew up in this house located in Chaska, MN. One of them measures 9" high by 9" wide, the other measure 9" x 9.5". There is no formal Red Wing stamp on them only these blue markings. Could you please tell me what you think and a possible value? Thanks!

3 gallon Red Wing Shoulder Jug

I have a large stoneware jug – clearly marked as Red Wing. It has a large number 3 marked on it – does that mean it is a 3 gallon jug? Can not find any reference to these numbers and what they mean. I am interested in selling this jug – any hint as to value? measures 16 1/2 " high, 10" diameter #7 standard 2 1/4" trademark oval a few minor exterior chips around the base, no cracks – photo included

Red Wing Vase 166, yellow glaze

Interested in any background on a beautiful Red Wing Vase – yellow glaze with bas relief flower on 3 sides. 12 inches tall. beautiful condition – no damage. Marking on the bottom: in a blue circle "Red Wing Union Stone Ware 00 Red Wing Minn" and a #166 in the stoneware (not a stamp) Purchased in Kalona Iowa in late 1990s. Thank you.
Answer: it dates to the early 30′s. There are 3 sizes, this being in the middle. Nice early vase. Value is around 125.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

I have a rose colored #1340 Red Wing vase that I’ve had for as long as I can remember. I think it came from my grandparents. Just wondering when it was made & how much it might be worth. Thank you.

good evening. my mother-in-law left me with this set of vases. they are in perfect condition. the item number on the bottem is 899. but the final 9 in the number has a bit if a scroll at the bottom of it’s number. what is are these pcs. worth for insurance value? thnak you for your time. sincerely, deborah
Answer: Hi Deborah, the number I have is a simple bowl, which isn’t what you are describing to me. A pic would be great, or perhaps recheck the number. if they are indeed a bowl, the value is around 25.00 each. thanks, steve n rose

Red Wing lid, 3 gallon crock

I have a red wing 3 gal crock and a lid from my mom’s estate. I am beginning to wonder if the lid really matches the red wing crock. Hoping you might be able to help me ID the manufacturer or at least tell me if it ISN"T a red wing lid. Lid is cool beige color (like crock), has three 1/8 bands of blue color, one inch band of unglazed or unfinished or ? about 1 inch from outer rim, and has a 4 W mark stamped into the crockery in the scalloped band between inner color band 1 and middle color band 2.
