Question:
Hello…I found this vase at a garage sale this morning in Holland, MI. They were asking $10 but I got it for $5.00. It has a green glaze with brown speckles on the outside. Inside it is a terra cotta color. On the bottom the vase says Red Wing U.S.A 795. It has at least a partial Red Wing sticker on the side. It is dirty inside but no chips or cracks. Did I make a good buy? Even if I didn’t, I like it and it looks nice in my house. I am not a collector of anything and have never heard the name Red Wing before but decided to google it and found your site. What can you tell me about it? Thanks, Sheila
Answer: Hi Sheila
your vase is part of belle Kogan’s primatique line, circa 1962. There are several other similiar shapes if you like this one. Value is around 45.00 or so, so you got a good buy. thanks, steve n rose

I have an incomplete set of Redwing dinnerware: 8 dinner plates, 7 saucers, 7 dessert plates, 6 small bowls, and 5 teacups. I also have a platter, serving bowl, creamer, and salt & pepper shakers. Many of the pieces have small chips on the backs of them. The design is green leaves with rose red and yellow flowers on oblong shaped dishes. The were a wedding present to my parents in 1955. What would they be worth today?
I have piece and want to know how old it is a value
I have a few pieces that were passed on to me recently that I cannotfind mention of anywhere. The first is a Star-Shaped Serving dish Approx 1.5" deep and spansabout 10.5" across the points. It has a number on the bottom/back 1164. Item 2 is a planter – cream and stands approx 6" H by 7" wide. This one has the number 2 etched in the bottom. Last is a butter crock. A promotional piece from Koch’s Stores. 6" High and about 7" in diameter at the widest spot… All three pieces have no cracks, chips or flaws and are very clean! Any help would be greatly appreciated! Jason
