Nokomis Glase piece

Question:
There is a piece of pottery on Ebay that is in the Nokomis Glaze that is 8 by 3 inches deep and 3 inches wide. What would be the value of this piece? It is very pretty but I have seen other pieces much more expensive with better shapes and forms. Thank-you for your help-I am new at collecting Red Wing but enjoy every piece. My first pieces were from my mother. Donna

Answer: Hi Donna

I think it’s #218, an oval planter. Nokomis is stil prized by collectors, prices may be down a bit, but still command a good price. This is a more common shape, as you state. Value is around 100-125.00. thanks, steve n rose
