my mom passed away and i have a 1938 season’s greetings Beanpot. it has some slight wear on the upper lip (5 little places where it has rubbed off the brown glaze). the print on the beanpot says: "1938 season’s greetings 1938 holstein produce & hatchery holstein, Iowa poultry, eggs, cream chicks, feeds, supplies" can you tell me its antique value? and where i would list it to sell it? sincerely, Lee

Reed Pieces, Gypsy Trail

Larry, I collect yellow Reed pieces and I have noticed that there are two distinct plate shapes. One shape I would call the flair shape where the edges go straight out from the center, and the other a tulip shape where the edges turn under at the outer edge. I know that this was made for a about 30 years so there could be a change in style. Do you know the reason for the change and which style belongs to what era? Jody

I just found this beautiful scalloped, fluted, footed bowl at Goodwill today. It is about 6 inches tall and has a diameter of nine inches. It is very pale creamy green with greenish-tannish speckles.
