Red Wing Snack Trays or Supper Sets
Question:
Dinnerware question for Larry and/or Terry – Today we found an 8 piece snack set – 4 cups, 4 trays – dark green in color w/Red Wing on the bottom of the trays. We cannot find anything on these snack trays, and honestly, we unfortunately dozed off when you guys were speaking about snack sets. We currently do not have a photo, but will send it shortly. The sets appear to have no pattern or line association. Can you give us any info on RW dinnerware production that included snack sets,,,,, and values. The antiques dealer said her mother had purchased the sets years ago. They appear unused. Thanks, Kris & Jerry Mounts

Red Wing 964, 846, and 674 vases
Question:
I recently inherited 3 Red Wing vases and I’m wondering what the value of them is. One is a brown vase marked #964, a green vase #846 and a vase with an unusual finish #674. They are all in good condition. I don’t have pictures but could get them soon if needed. Thanks for your help. Karen
Answer: Hi Karen
If the 674 has handpainted horizontal lines, it’s from 1960, part of the Chromoline. Value on it is around 120.00 or so. I have an 846, from 1963, a fan shaped vase, part of the Belle line. Value is around 40.00 or so. The 964 sounds like it’s from the terra craft line, 1939, it has a rough texture to the outside. Value is around 80.00 on that one. Sometimes Red Wing re-used numbers over the years, so without sizes, or pics, it’s hard to really figure out what you have. thanks, steve n rose

Vase pot with cobolt, purple, and burgundy
Question:
I got this at a yard sale – the gentleman told me it was a piece of Redwng from 1918. It is 8" tall & 18" wide. It appears to be a base glaze color of brown with tourqoise, cobalt, purple & burgundy drizzled on it. It came with an "ancient" looking lamp piece sitting in it (electric) Janet
Answer: Hi Janet
It’s not a Red Wing shape, and I"m not sure who made it. Interesting glaze, and I assume it to be an older item, but that’s all I can tell you. Wish I could be of more help. thanks, steve n rose
