Bronze Line art pottery set
Question:
Hi RWCS- I have a collection of vases and pitchers that are bronze glazed. I’m told they’re rare and part of a wedding collection. The number on the bottom of one piece is 918. So far no luck finding similar pieces on line or in books. Any idea of the period, value, etc? My sincerest thanks, Amber
Answer: Hi Amber
these are all part of the Bronze line, circa 1965. Not really rare, but could have been a wedding present. An average price for each is around 50.00, some maybe a little more, some a little less. hope this helps, thanks, steve n rose

20 gallon Sanitation Drain Jar
Question:
I have aquired a 20 gallon sanitation drain jar. The only thing on the crock is a number 20 in blue and a small square that says sanitation drain jar in blue. It has a metal stand it sits on the crock looks like a 20 gallon open crock exept it tappers to a drain or spout all of stone thus the reason it sits on a metal stand. Can you tell me is it red wing if it does not have the traditional red wing stamp. Also I am wondering an estimated value, it is in good shape and clean. In addition I was wondering what the item was used for. We are avid red wing collectors and have not seen this item before. THANK YOU Rebecca

RumRill 492, Trumpet Group
Question:
My grandmother had a piece of pottery that is ivory with Rumm Rill 492 and a sticker on the bottom. The piece is oval and has flower blossoms curved up on one end of the piece like a handle. It doesn’t have any chips or damage. Can you tell me anything about this piece and its value? Sorry I can’t upload a picture at this time, but will try later if needed. Thanks, Annette
Answer: Hi Annette
Your item is from around 1938, part of the Trumpet group. Red Wing made it, but it’s part of the Rumrill lines. Nice to have the original sticker after all those years. value is around 85.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
