Question:
Hello! For some backstory, I do handyman-type work for a friend from church (retired, disabled firefighter) and just noticed this big crock that’s been sitting in the back of his shop, half-filled with dirt and two shovels. My girlfriend told me old pottery in that style could be worth something so I snapped a couple of pictures and just remembered to Google the markings. Without further ado, the crock is about 2 1/2 ft tall, diameter of maybe a foot. The glazing is in pretty good condition, the Red Wing trademark is faded and so is the manufacturer markings. Here’s two pictures taken with my cell phone, Thank you! Iver
Answer: Iver, In good condition the crock would be worth about $65-70. Jeff
