Red Wing 3018, M3007 and M 3014
Question:
Hello! I recently picked these 3 vases up at an estate sale. The first on is #3018 and it is 22.25" tall and 5.5" wide at the base. The second on is #m-3014 and it is 12.25" tall and 12" at its widest point. The third vase is #m-3007 and it is 12.25" tall and 7" wide. I know that the 2 that start with M are Murphy vases but is the other one? The style looks similar to the middle one. Also how would you describe the styles and glazes? Thank you so much for your time. Reid
Answer: Hi Reid
these are decorator line items, from 1959. they are a crystalline glaze, the first two I think are burnt orange. All of these are attributed to Murphy. A nice group, value could be around 1000.00 for the set. thanks, steve n rose

I have a dark blue and ivory Red Wing pottery vase that is about 11 inches high and 6,5 inches as its widest point. I know it is older than 40 years but am not sure of the dating. It has two openings into which flowers can be placed. The marking on the bottom states Red Wing USA and I believe the letter/number B2315. Any information you could provid regarding this vase would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Rachel
Answer: Hi Rachel
this is a piece from the "anniversary" series of 1953, the glaze is an overlay, luster black/gray. Value is around 85.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose
Pink Spice 77 piece set
Question:
Hello, I submitted a question about my dinner set and was told I needed an inventory of them to get a better estimate. I have the Pink Spice Dinner Set, in the color pink. 77 total pieces when counting lids. 6 lrg dinner plates 5 salad plates, 1 sm plate, 9 pink curved sm bowls. 1 lrg serving bowl and 1 large serving bowl with a lid. 5 serving plates of various shapes. One is elevated at one end. I am wondering what that was used to serve. 10 teacups and 10 saucers, 1 teapot, 2 creamers and 2 sugar bowls with lids. 1 set of salt and pepper shakers, and 1 dish that appears to me to be a gravy server. It is in excellent condition. A few very small chips on some of the curved bowl plate dishes. I do not know what they are called either. This is what I loved about this set is the various shapes it has and the colors with the little yellow butterfly. I would like to know an estimated value and how do I go about selling it? I would also like to know what the serving dishes were called and used to serve. Thank you. Julie
