Lupine Dinnerware collection

Question:
I have a platter, 2 pitchers, and salt & pepper shakers with yellow flowers and gray leaves. The salt shaker has a crack, the top "lip" is broken off (clean break, and I have the piece), and it is discolored at the base. All other pieces are in great shape. I’m planning to sell it on eBay and haven’t a clue what to ask. Thanks for your help.

Random Harvest Dinnerware

Question:
I have received a complete set of random harvest dinnerware, services for 8. It has two platters, two serving bowls, creamer/sugar. Can you tell me what this might be worth? Thank you.

Answer:

Assuming excellent condition, the value for this collection is probably in the $100 to $500 range. "Complete set" does not provide an accurate description of the items included in your set. The term has no consistent meaning. I’d need a list of the items included to provide a more accurate estimate. Larry

Plum Blossom Dinnerware

Question:
Hi I recently went through my mother’s belongs and came across 4 dinner plates, 4 salad plates (one with a large chip which I still have), and 4 saucers. I looked up the pattern and it is the plum blossom collection. They are in pristine condition as they have been hid away for about 40 years….i never remember seeing them – ever. I also have a dark green art deco type coffee decanter (LARGE), cream and sugar and salt and pepper that seem to belong to it too.. These have no decorations. Only The plates say red wing hand painted on the back. The thing I am wondering is, are these of any value or interest to anyone. I would love to see them in a home of someone who would cherish them if they are indeed collectible. I could probably get a friend to take a picture of them if there is any serious interest in them. I would sincerely appreciate a reply as I am quite curious if there is an interest out there for them.
