I have just purchased a little cup I believe that it is the damask pattern it is 2 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall it has the letters CHA and 1966 and some kind of pattern in the middle.It does have a hairline through the handle. I HAVE WHAT I BELIEVE IS A GREEN GLAZED MAPLE SYRUP PITCHER 2QUART SIZE .10 3/4 HIGH TO TOP OF HANDLE BY 8 3/4 ACROSS. THE SIDESHAVE A HORSEHOE DESIGN AROUND THE OUTSIDE AND VERY NICELY FLOWING SHAPE . HANDLE ON TOP GOES ACROSS TOP. AND A PORING SPOUT WITH A CORK IS IN FRONT OF THE HANDLE. ON THE LOWER EDGE IS STAMPED IN BLACK SOMETHING ? PATENT THEN REDWING AND THE ADDRESS BELOW THAT. THE SPOUT HAS A COUPLE OF CHIPS AND A MINOR ONE ON THE LOWER SIDE BELOW ONE OF THE HORESHOES. IS THIS A MAPLE SYRUP CONTAINER ? IS THIS AN UNCOMMON PIECE ? WHAT MIGHT ITS VALUE BE ? IT HAS A VERY BEAUTIFUL GREENISH HUE GLAZE THAT IS WONDERFUL. THANK YOU.

Dear People: We would very much appreciate your opinion on the value of this pitcher. It is approximately 7" high, and about 4" in diameter at the top opening. The glaze is an unusual blend of earth tones, similar to a ‘raku’ look. It only says ‘ Red Wing, USA on the bottom. Thank you for your reply, Sincerely, Wayne Listing

this is actually a tea pot, from the futura line. It looks to be an odd glaze, most likely done by someone other than Red Wing. (they sold molds to other companies or craft shops) It is missing the lid, also. value around 10.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

Question:
I’m from Wi. but recently attended an estate auction in southern Al. I purchased a set of four covered RedWing bowls described as onion soup bowls. The bowls have two handles and the cover has a yellow applied rose with two leaves to lift it. Bowl is 5" across & 2" high without cover. Sides of bowl are decorated with yellow and blue flowers with cream background in and out. Inside of bowl begins with yellow 1/2" stripe and a narrow blue one. One bowl has a hairline which I think you can see on the picture but rest have no chips and seem to be in excellent condition. The all have the stamped RedWing mark on the bottom. Could you please give me a value on these, tell me when made and if they are Onion Soups? Thanks, Ronda Kerstner
