Village Green salad bowl
Question:
Would like to know the name & possible value of this Red Wing bowl. From anything close I could find, it might be of the Village Green line? No cracks, chips or crazing. Only slight darkening of green in bottom of bowl and a few glaze pops on bottom. Otherwise in excellent condition. Size is 6 inch diameter, 2.5 inch height, with raised Red Wing U.S.A. on bottom. Thank You for your help! Cathy Weller

Chef Pierre Cookie Jar
Question:
In our kitchen now sits one of my husband’s favorite childhood memories: a Red Wing Pottery cookie jar – it is a rotund baker with apron, hat and watch chain in a light mustard color, and absolutely pristine condition. It is such a joy to behold! Any idea when it made or where? He was born In was born (’46) and raised in Glendale (adjacent to L.A. Calif.)

Magnolia Pattern Set
Question:
I bought a setting of 12 of the Magnolia pattern at an estate auction. One of the bread plates was cracked and eventually broke. Where can I get a replacement for it? The few that I have seen on e-bay look like imposters. Thank you for your time. Patty

Round Up and Chuck Wagon Collection
Question:
I have a "set" of Red Wing Pottery that I received from my mother. It’s made up of a combination of pieces from "Roundup" and "Chuck Wagon".
Including: 8 salad plates, 1 with small blemish, 1 that has been cracked and glued. The numbers are 223? chipped, 331? cracked, 213 or 218, 218, 228, 2x 319. 1 number is only half printed.
8 dinner plates in very good condition 3x 129, 5x 319.
3 serving dishes
10 cups, 1 cracked but not all the way through, I think, no numbers.
10 saucers, 2x 116, unknown, 2x probably 319 or 229, 4x 229, 319
If you send me an email I will reply with link to a folder on MyPictureTown that will have all the pictures made of the Red Wing pottery. I assume that the numbers are of the different painters that made the pieces. True? What’s the best place to sell these items? eBay? Or auction in a gallery somewhere? Can you point me to a gallery, I would guess that a gallery in MN would be best, but what do I know? Thank you very much, Max
