Question:
Would like to know the name & possible value of this Red Wing bowl. From anything close I could find, it might be of the Village Green line? No cracks, chips or crazing. Only slight darkening of green in bottom of bowl and a few glaze pops on bottom. Otherwise in excellent condition. Size is 6 inch diameter, 2.5 inch height, with raised Red Wing U.S.A. on bottom. This piece is a Village Green 6 inch salad bowl. Salad bowls in this pattern were also made in 9 and 12 inch sizes. Glaze imperfections are quite common with the Village Green pattern. Value of this bowl in excellent condition is $15-20.
