Village Green Dinnerware

Question:
I learned some dishes I got when no one else in my family wanted them were Red Wing Village Green. I took them to a local consignment shop but no one bought the. I decided to list them on ebay and am amazed at the bids they are getting. There are plates in three sizes (10 1/4", 8 1/4" and 6 1/4"), berry bowls, and a couple saucers. You can see these ebay listings now until next Thursday. My Mother has the set of graduated kitchen cannisters that are the green and brown glaze. Approximately what would the cannisters be worth? I assume they are in good condition like the plates I have, but since I can\’t be sure, a ballpark figure would be appreciated. Thank you Beverly

Gypsy Trail Hostess War, Cobalt Pitcher

Question:
Hi, I have had this cobalt pitcher for a very long time. Red-Wing 251 U.S.A is written into the clay. The base is 4" across, from spout to handle, 12", 3 1/4" x 3 1/2". Under the curves handle are ridges. I suppose for an easy hold of the pot. The pot is flawless, no crackling, chips, anything! The only flaw, if it is a flaw, was in firing, there is a little white on the handle, where not enough cobalt was applied. Thank you for all your assistance! I can’t beleive I found you, as I had searched high and low for a resource. Thank you again! Jan

Harvest Pattern Plates

Question:
Red Wing Pottery Experts, I bought two small Harvest pattern (bread/butter?) plates at an antique store. Neither of the two have any chips or cracks. Both have an even all-over light crazing, but no stains. I know that these are fairly rare. The price guides are a little grey. I paid $10.22 for the pair. What would you estimate their price to be? Thanks, Bret
