Question:
Al, I’m looking forward to your answer to my questions about a 3 gal. butter churn that I sent last nite. Anyway, I was wondering if you could also help me out with two other items I have. One is a pitcher (milk ewer?). This pitcher is 12" tall and it does have a small chip on the rim. There are no identifying marks on this pitcher so I was wondering if it was possibly Red Wing and what its approximate value is. Also, I know this is not your area of expertise but I have this Macomb stoneware 1 gal. jar (identification on bottom) with a screw top, and I haven’t been able to find anything else exactly like it. Your best guess on a price would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bruce
Answer: Bruce, I am not sure who the manufacturer is of your stoneware picture and have no idea of a value on it. The Macomb fruit jar is quite common and they sell in the area of $20 to $25. Hope this is of some help. Al Kohlman
