3 gallon brown top jug with birch leaf stamp

Question:
Hi , I bought this 3 gal. brown and white shoulder jug recently at auction thinking it might be of Redwing manufacture because of the birch leaf decoration. It seems it may be kind of a hybrid of Redwing and Plymouth Stoneware of Fort Dodge IA. It appears if info found is correct, the Plymouth company used the fleur de lis bracketed gallon designation and was bought out by Redwing which continued to use it for 1909 to 1910. My thoughts are that it may not be a very common Redwing decoration to still find because of the short time of use of this marking style. It is in great shape. Could you tell me if it is in fact likely a Redwing product and have an idea on approximate collector value. Thank You, Jeff

Red Wing Town & Country Dinnerware Set in Rust

Question:
My Mother has a Red Wing Town & Country Dinnerware Set in Rust that was purchased new in the 1950s. She has service for 12 including Creamer, Sugar, Pitcher, Teapot, platters and serving bowls. She also has 6 T&C Wheat(?) plates. I have not been able to find anything on Wheat plates – just Wreath – was there a plate pattern Wheat in T&C dinnerware? Can you please let me know approximate value and IF she decides to sell, where would be the best place to do so. I’ve enjoyed looking at your website and the responses to questions submitted. Thanks! 5 gallon crock with arrow decoration

Question:
Can you help me identify this 5 gal. crock? It has no markings other than the cobalt ones shown in the pic. I think it is salt glaze, although it is not brownish like my other salt glaze crocks, rather, it is greyish. It has handles similar to my other salt glaze crocks, too. No cracks or chips, brown interior glaze. What causes the yellow spots in front? Thank you in advance for your time and effort. Sandra

3 gallon jug with flower decoration

Question:
Hello! I inherited this jug from my grandmother in Wisconsin. The decoration appears to be some sort of flower (tulip?) in a cobalt blue. The number 3 appears directly above the flower and is underlined. The salt glaze is smooth around the jug, although there is a spot of reddish discoloration near the flower design. There are no cracks or chips. The handle attaches directly to the spout at a roughly 90 degree angle. It has no makers mark, so I’m unsure if it is even a Red Wing product. Any information on what this is would be greatly appreciated!! Eric
