REd WIng B 1392, Belle Kogan designer

Question:
I have a base with a Red Wing Art Pottery label. Please let me know if the vase is more valuable with the sticker or without the sticker? The label is gold & red and at the bottom of vase you are able to read RED WING U.S.A. B1392. I will appreciate the approximate value. The outside color of the base is like a soft mauve color & the inside is like an off white color. Thanks Maria

Answer: Hi Maria

Your vase is from around 1951, I think the sticker adds a little to it, but they are fairly common. Value on this vase is around 30.00. thanks, steve n rose

50 gallon crock with lid

Question:
I would like some info on the 50 gallon Redwing crock with lid. The crock has no cracks except some small spiderweb cracks around the drain hole in bottom. There is also an over flow hole at the top of crock. I don’t know if the hole is orginal or not. The Redwing on the crock is almost faded away. The lid has a hump on the rim. It looks like it was done when made. Any info and estimate of value etc. would be appreciated. Bill

5 gallon standard marking clarification

Question:
I have a plain jug with a smaller blue number 5 and nothing else on it. It is quite large and I believe the 5 is for 5 gal and it is the normal stoneware color. Is it a Red wing? Gaylene

Additional info:

I sent in a question – not answered as of yet but I forgot to say that the number 5 is below the rim as if the wing and the rest was left off and I have never seen that before- the 5 is also open as if fancier- by that I mean not a solid 5. Thanks for your help
