Brush ware bowl the daffodil pattern

Question:
I have this bowl that I suspect to be Red Wing. It has a daffodil pattern. It measures 6 3/4" in diameter and 2 1/2" high. It is a green color. It has 2 very small "chigger bites" around the top outside rim. Thanks Carlie

Answer: Thanks for the pics, Carlie. Think this one is a Western or RRP product, it just doesn’t have the right look for Red Wing. Still a nice item, value is around 35.00 or so. thanks, steve n rose

Gopher on a stump with B.L. marking

Question:
I found a gopher stump tooth pick at an estate sale, it looks like the real thing. However it is only marked B. L. (inscribed on the bottom). It is cold painted, no gloss. Measures 2 1/2 inches from side to side, 2 1/4 inches tall and wide.

Answer: Is it bisque underneath? it appears to never have been glazed. Still nice, I haven;t seen one unglazed before. value is around 100-125. thanks, steve n rose

crock with moving damage

Question:
I have a huge red wing stoneware crock…fattened dec. 1915…19" diameter, 20.5" tall. It was damaged in moving last year….four chunks…one with handle in tact. is it worth repairing, all pieces are complete….or will there be no value in a repaired crock? What works best in binding the pieces together again?

MORE INFO: Sorry for the lack of info…now after exploring your site….I’m a bit more knowledgable : ) It’s a Red Wing….20 gallon with bail handles….wire and wood in tact. The wing on the side is medium in size….compared to the latest entry on your site…the one in pristine condition. Can’t re-coup any money from moving damage….we did it ourselves! so sad

Just curious…what works best for repairing broken crocks…and if any value would be left for sale in a yard sale?? Alison

Buffet Royale buffet service set (chaffing dish)

Question:
This appears to be a sort of chaffing dish. Says Red Wing USA in the bottom of the pot. Within stand has two pieces of ceramic comprising the unit that will hold candle or sterno. Bought at a yard sale- its in very good shape. I haven’t been able to find a similar piece searching as of yet. Just curious as to its rarity or value before I decide what i should do with it. Thanks for your time.
