I was finally able to get a picture to submit. Please tell me any information you have on this Red Wing Ashtray. I think it’s an ashtray anyway. It measures approx. 6 1/4" x 4 1/2" and is marked on the back Red Wing U.S.A. The front inside reads "WIN TWINS" and has a picture of two baseball players shaking hands. There is a baseball in the background. One man has on a jersey with an "M" on it and the other with an "S" on it. I can’t find another one like it. Thanks!

Hello, it’s actually listed in the stoneware guide. It would be from 1965, for the world series. It has a listed value of about 300.00. thanks, steve n rose

Hi I found this piece (serving bowl) in Portland, OR for $5.00 in a traditional antique sales area of town called Sellwood. I liked it because my home is a mid-century bi-level and we have embraced mid-century modern and have been renovating our home in danish modern or mid-century modern furnishings. This bowl reminded me of the period and I love the natural curves and hues of the piece. As I was washing it today, after 2 years of having it I noticed the marking and "Googled" it, now I’m intrigued to know the story behind the piece. Any help is appreciated. Rachel, Portland, Oregon
This is a 12" plate painted with an apple and apple blossoms — on the back is the Red Wing Pottery emblem and "hand painted". The plate travelled by train from Wisconsin to Washington State with our family of nine(the Pflugers) in 1943. An aunt, Tina Larson, worked as a painter at the Red Wing factory for many years. It’s a family treasure, & we’ve long wondered if it was a one-of-a-kind piece, or part of a set. Any information or history that any of you could provide would be greatly appreciated….approximate year produced, sale price, current value, etc. Thanks so much for your help. Mary

I obtained these pieces over the years, some at auction, yard sales, etc. I just liked the look of them. Never knew much about the dinnerware until your site.
