Jug Handle

Question:
Hi, I sent you a collection of crocks, a jug and a churn to look at. The jug was a 3 gallon with a lazy 8 and target that could have been Red Wing or perhaps Western. I am including a picture of how the handle is attached to see if that could help you identify it. Once again, thanks for your help and information.

Follow up questions on the Gear Dairy advertising pot: Do you know the year it was made? What would you estimate the value to be? And do you know where I might find a replacement lid – or is it better to not have a lid since it wouldn’t be original? Thanks again!

Red Wing Gray Ling Beater Jar with Advertising

Question:
Hello- I have a stoneware piece with advertising that I believed was a Red Wing piece. My question is about the stamp on the bottom. It is a blue circle that says "Made in Red Wing" in blue writing. Is this an actual Red Wing stoneware?

It seems to be a small beater crock about 5" tall and to be in fair condition. It has a few small chips and scratches in the glaze. Just below the rim on the outside, there are two blue stripes, in between which there is a sponging. It has advertising in side for Ellwein, DeWald, & Co in Freeman, South Dakota. Thank you Alison
