Magnolia Line #1014

Question:
Please provide as much information about this piece as possible. I have no information about it. There is the Redwing "logo" along the curve in the bottom and opposite the logo is a number "1014" (I am not sure about the 4,but that is my best guess, the 101 is very definite. Following the 4, there is another mark that appears almost to be an "asterisk".) The dish is 12 1/4" long from tip of handle to tip of handle, the bowl itself is about 10 1/2" long. It is 7 1/2" wide and 4" tall. Thanks for any information.

Answer: It is shape #1014. Part of the Magnolia line of 1942, designed by belle Kogan. there were about 20 different shapes with this style decoration. the glaze is called eggshell ivory, antiqued w/brown. it has a value of around 45.00.

5 gallon salt glaze albany slip liner

Question:
I bought this unmarked stoneware crock at an estate sale, along with several pieces of marked Red Wing items. In trying to research this piece, I read that most of the early salt-glazed Red Wing crocks weren’t marked. With the obvious exception of design and size, my crock looks very similar in color and style to the 3 gallon crock on page 19 of Warman’s Red Wing Pottery Identification and Price Guide published in 2005. Would you please tell me if you think this is in fact Red Wing?

20 Gallon Red Wing Crock

Question:
I have an original Red Wing 20 gallon crock, my grandma made pickles in it, and it sat in our cave forever. It has blue 20 and red red wing underneath, and the red wing Mani info. underneath. It also has a lid. It has no handles. Just a few chips on the bottom, and a few under the lid. I would love to keep it forever, but was just wondering how much it may be worth.
