Question:
Hi When I was younger i accidentally broke my grandmas favorite red wing piece. It was a blue boy statue and I have been trying to find one but haven’t been able to. If you could tell me a little more about this item and if there is one in a book somewhere that would be very helpful Thanks, Aimee
Answer: hi Aimee, the early ones are around 8" tall or so, only around a dozen known, all handmade, worth several thousand dollars. There is also a remake done which is considerably larger, worth a few hundred. thanks, steve n rose

I just got this at an estate sale and was wondering its value and if you can put me in contact with a potential buyer. It is in good condition but does have a hairline crack that runs about 2/3ds of the way down the back. It isnt bad but it is there and it has the usual firing flaws. Adverting area is very nice and the blue band are a strong blue. It is large… 20lb? Any help is apprectiated. Thanks
Hello I have this crock and I was wondering if you could tell me something about it? It is a number 25 birchleaf and has the Union Stoneware Red Wing Minn oval. But this one has a hole for what looks like a spigot, could you give me any information on it? Thank you Mike
I have a Red Wing Recipe and preserve book by the Red Wing Union Stoneware Co. I am enclosing pictures of it. It measures 8 3/4" x 6". It has no date, it has 32 pages,I never seen one before, It was written by C. Houston Goudiss, New York City. Can you help me with some information and value of this piece. Thanks for your time. Phil

The 18-1/2" Tall blue-green vase seems like it may be a Red Wing piece but I am not sure. It has not marking on the base. I will submit pics for you…Thanks, Gary
