Question:
Hi there
When I was growing up, my mom had a cookie jar on the counter… It was an all-yellow dutch girl. I think now it was probably a Red Wing Karina cookie jar. I have been looking for an all-yellow one and have never seen another. Could it indeed have been a Red Wing? Are they that rare?

30 gallon elephant ears and leaves, Union Stoneware oval
Question:
My information regarding my 30 gallon crock. It has 4 leaves and has elephant ears, stamped with Union Stoneware with only the Red Wing name as the City in Minnesota. No cracks, no lid, mint condition. I do not have a photo to share with you now. The crock has been stored upside down for 45 years. Thank you, Herb
emailed to see if there are both types of leaves or what he is trying to describe:

Question:
Hello:
Tom and I have been collecting redwing spongeware for around 15 years. We have some
very nice pieces and some that are cracked. We
have many bowls, paneled, smooth, cherry band pitchers, custard cups, a riemer, etc. Some have
markings some have not. They have been setting on top of our cupboards for years and it’s now time for a change. We recently found out that neither one of our children are interested in them. I’m wondering what your advice would be in selling them. Naturally, we would like to sell as a lot but that probably is not feasible.
We would appreciate any advice you could give us.
Thank you. we probably have around 50-60 items.

crock. The pottery has a "hex" spigot and is in
mint condition–no cracks or chips. The crock did not come with a spigot or lid. We would be
interested in the age of the pottery as well as
the value. Thanks!!
